Alexander Technique lessons and back care in Lewes
What happens in a lesson?
My Alexander Technique Lessons are usually one-to-one and last around 45 minutes. I teach at my own home in Lewes (free on-street parking) and at The Open Door, a complementary health centre on Church Twitten in the centre of Lewes (01273 474949). See below for prices.
You need to be comfortably dressed and prepared to remove your shoes. Although you won't be doing any exercises, you will probably lie down on the table for part of the Alexander Technique lesson.
There is no manipulation
Lessons involve a mixture of talking and gentle touch. You're learning skills you can take away and use in everyday life.
In the lessons you'll learn to 'use' yourself better. You will learn to integrate mind and body for maximum ease and efficiency.
Invest in your well-being
Just as when you learn a musical instrument, one lesson isn't going to get you very far.
It's best to have several lessons, fairly close together.
But you're not going to book something when you don't know what it is, so prices go as follows.
Your first (trial) lesson lasts around an hour but costs only £20 - half the price of a normal lesson.
Contact Kate Minogue to book an appointment.
Thereafter an individual pay-as-you-go lesson is £40.
If you have five lessons, paying as you go, the sixth will be half-price.
If you book six lessons and pay upfront, the total is £200.
Appointments cancelled with less than 24 hours notice may be charged at the full rate.
